Brodie Argue grew up in the Macleay Valley, where he was exposed to horses at a very young age with his family heavily involved in campdraft and cutting horses. He has been a regular competitor at the ABCRA national finals, moving up through the junior to the open ranks. Brodie has also been selected to compete at the Equitana Australian open on two occasions.

Brodie completed his veterinary science degree at Charles Sturt University where he trailed Intrafollicular insemination as a part of his final year honours.

In 2015 Brodie was awarded the Equine Veterinarian Australia young member award for commitment to the industry.

Brodie has completed an equine internship at Ballarat Equine in equine surgery, anaesthesia and ambulatory/racetrack practice, and also has a special interest in sports medicine, lameness, diagnostic imaging and artificial reproduction.
